Each year, we have at least 3 events: the winter party towards the end of February; the tent at the Dad Vail Regatta in May; and the Alumni and Parents Day, in conjunction with the team, the second weekend in October.

2009 UD Alumni Winter Party

On February 28th 2009, the Delaware Men's Crew Alumni Association hosted its 2nd annual winter party at the Dark Horse Pub in Philly. It was a great time with around 40 people showing up. Alumni came from many areas ranging from New York down to DC to throw back a pint and catch up on the new crew and swap old stories. We were also honored to have the great UDel coaching staff; including Chuck, JW, Joe Federici, Joe Kleiman and Pete Seymour. Good luck to you guys this year, we will be rooting for you and the team!!

Also, this was the first time in which we formally recognized/voted for 3 new board members; congratulations to the new board members Brad Nathanson '02, Shawn Duff '08, and Eric Juergens '08. Three new members are elected every year to a 9 member board. If you are interested to get involved or run for a position, ask any of the board members or president for more details. All in all, we had a great showing and we raise a lot of money to help pay for the Dad Vail Tent. Thanks to everyone for showing up and supporting the association. It was fantastic to see everyone!

Also, keep the date May 9th 2009 open for the Dad Vail Regatta. We'll have the tent for the 3rd straight year and we are looking to have HUGE turnout!! See you then.
